Contra Dance
Past Event ....... June 13th, 2008 — 8:00 pm
Friday, June 13, 8-11 p.m., in Callahan Hall, an evening of traditional New England contra dancing to the band Highland Hash (fiddler Ed Pearlman and his son Neil on piano, Anthony Shostak on banjo, pipes & didgeridoo and Alfred Lund on hand drums), with caller Jeff Petrovitch.
Admission: a bargain at only $2 for students, $5 others.
Come kick off the summer season with some super hot music in a very cool venue (this hall is air-conditioned!). No experience is required; all dances are taught and beginners are very welcome. Come with or without a partner. For more information: 513-3050.
