Summer Senior Computer Lab at LPL for Third Year!
Past Event ....... July 9th, 2008 — 1:00 pm
Wednesday, July 9, from 1-3 pm, the 2nd of 6 free one-on-one computer tutorials for Seniors will be held in the LPL Computer Classroom on the 2nd floor.
These sessions, staffed by a team of student volunteers from the Lewiston-Auburn area, are being offered for the third year. The personalized, one-on-one tutoring is designed to assist anyone over age 55 with learning the basics of using the Internet or with simple word processing, e-mail, Web-surfing, or other entry level computer use functions. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and people are invited to drop in at any time during the two-hour sessions and to attend as often as they like. No advance registration is required.
The Senior Computer Lab sessions will meet weekly through August 6. More information is available by calling the LPL Reference Desk at 513-3135.
