Wake the NeighborsFriday, April 10, 8-11 p.m., in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library (200 Lisbon Street/Rte.196, at the corner of Pine Street in downtown Lewiston), an evening of traditional New England contra dancing to the band Wake the Neighbors (Jessie Gagne-Hall on fiddle; Jim DiCarlo on flute; John Cote on guitar; Anthony Shostak on banjo, pipes & didgeridoo; Alfred Lund on hand drums), with caller Jeff Petrovitch. Admission: a bargain at only $2 for students, $5 others. No experience required; all dances are taught and beginners are very welcome. Come with or without a partner. For more information: 513-3050.
