Contra Dance
Past Event ....... June 11th, 2010 — 8:00 pm
Friday, June 11, 8-11 p.m., in Callahan Hall, an evening of traditional New England contra dancing to the band Le HotClub du Maine (fiddlers Julia Plumb and Greg Boardman, guitarist Aidan Boardman and percussionist Alfred Lund) with special guest caller Tony Parkes from Boston. Admission: a bargain at only $5, $2 for students. No experience required; all dances are taught and beginners are very welcome. Come with or without a partner.
