Senior Computer Labs offered on Thursdays

Past Event ....... July 22nd, 2010 — 1 - 3pm

Seniors aged 60 and above can get free help with computer questions on Thursday afternoons from 1-3 pm at LPL’s  2nd floor Computer Lab through August 12.  Drop-ins are welcomed and no reservations are required.

Tutoring will cover basic computer skills as well as online functions such as how to write and send e-mail, how to use Google and other search engines, navigating the Web, selling on eBay and how to use chat rooms and blogs.   Students are welcome to bring their own questions.

The free, 2 hour sessions, are sponsored by the Downtown Education Collaborative (DEC), with one-on-one assistance   provided by work-study students from Kaplan University (formerly Andover College).
