Main Street Project

Thursday, August 19, 6:00 p.m.  The City of Lewiston is holding a public informational meeting on the Main Street Project in the Library’s Callahan Hall.  Plans will be presented and attendees will have the opportunity to get their questions answered. 

The meeting will focus on details of the proposed Maine Department of Transportation traffic improvement/safety project between Veterans Memorial Bridge and Montello Street.  Residents of the greater Main Street area–to include side streets Strawberry Avenue, Brooks Avenue, Walker Avenue, Pettingill Street, Bearce Avenue, Landry Road, and Libby Avenue–are urged to attend, as well as any other interested individual.
