Rosetta Stone Language Learning Software Back at LPL!
The Lewiston Public Library is now offering access to Rosetta Stone software to support language learning on computers in the Library. The program is available free of charge to all library users.
LPL has Rosetta Stone available in six languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic and Chinese (Mandarin). The program is available inside the library on computers in the computer lab and in the library’s second floor study rooms.
The study room computers are available and may be reserved for any time during regular library hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 7 pm; and Friday and Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm. Reservations may be made at the Library’s Reference Desk by calling 513-3135 or emailing LPLReference@LewistonMaine.gov.
The LPL Computer Lab is holding special Language Learning Lab sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. However, Rosetta Stone software is available for use at any time that the Computer Lab is open. The current Lab schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm; Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm.
The Library also provides other print and audio resources to support language learning. For more information on Rosetta Stone or any of the other resources, contact the Library’s Reference Desk at 513-3135.
