Hochschild weaves a moving and accessible tale as he focuses on a fascinating array of historical personalities including both prominent war supporters and anti-war activists.
This event is being co-sponsored by the Machiah Center and the Maine Humanities Council. The Feb 16th discussion program will be facilitated by Candace Kanes from the Maine Historical Society. Candace serves as MHS’s Maine Memory Network Curator and Historian and is an experienced discussion leader who has worked on numerous Maine Humanities Council programs over the years.
