Great Falls Forum: “Baseball: the Writer’s Sport”

Dr. Ed Rielly (Professor of English at St. Joseph’s College of Maine) is widely recognized as an authority on baseball and culture along with being an award-winning poet! Ed will be the featured speaker at the April Forum where he will be providing an overview of the great literature which our national pastime has spawned. In addition, he will be looking at the reasons behind this extensive body of writing and sharing some of his baseball poetry and haikus!

This Great Falls Forum event will take place in the Library’s Callahan Hall from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 19. All Forum programs are free and open to the public.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch or to take advantage of the Forum’s partnership with Guthries Cafe and order from their menu in advance of the presentation; bottled water, coffee and tea will be available at the Library.
