Friday the 13th Dance
Past Event ....... July 13th, 2012 — 7pm
A Franco-style barn dance is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. This portion of the evening is geared to families. Guest caller Kim Roberts will take over the calling at 8 p.m. for three hours of up-tempo New England contra dancing to music performed by Greg and Jessie Boardman, Rebecca Grube and Hannah Rodrigue.
Healthy Androscoggin has joined the library and the Maine Folque Co-op in co-sponsoring this event as one of the featured “alternative” physical activities that participants in the organization’s Get Fit & Win summer fitness program are encouraged to try out.
- Admission to the family dance: $1 for all.
- Admission to the contra dance: $5, $3 for students.
