Not in Our Town

Welcoming Maine and LPL are partnering to present two screenings this week of the film, Not in Our Town: Light in the Darkness in the Library’s Callahan Hall. The programs will be held on Tuesday evening, Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at noon.
Not in Our Town is a documentary about a town coming together to take action after anti-immigrant violence devastates the community. Following each film showing representatives from Welcoming Maine will conduct a dialogue about community, immigration and acceptance here in Maine.
