Science Explorers: Winter Survival

Budding scientists ages 8-12 are welcome to join us as we explore a variety of topics ranging from debunking the myths of vampires to understanding how the human body works! This week we take a cold hard look at how humans can survive during the harsh conditions of winter. Learn why you shouldn’t eat snow if you’re thirsty, how hypothermia works and what it is about snow structures that can keep you warm!
