Help College for ME-Andro Win $5,000
One of our good community partners, College for ME–Androscoggin, has made it onto the ballot for Bangor Savings Bank’s Community Matters More contest and they need our help to push them over the top in the voting. You will find them listed in the Greater Portland/ Lewiston/ Auburn section of the ballot which can be reached by clicking here.
For the past 8 years, College for ME-Androscoggin has been changing lives by helping more people go to college and graduate. In the past year alone, C4ME-A has awarded 23 scholarships for adults taking courses at area colleges and enrolled almost 200 teens in tuition-free college classes, as well as created their unique Degree Monument and new Employer Honor Roll on their web page. In addition, they’ve made sure 1,300 kindergartners started thinking of themselves as Future College Graduates and helped many of their families get a better understanding of the path to college.
