The Poet as Art

to join lostPoet Seth Steinzor will be reading his poetry in LPL’s Callahan Hall on Friday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. Steinzor, a 1979 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, has published poetry in Changing Men, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, Many Mountains Moving, and Hunger Mountain, and he was a semi-finalist for the 1996 Emily Dickinson Award. His first book, To Join the Lost, a contemporary revisiting of Dante’s Inferno, has been praised by critics as “achingly personal,” “daring,” and “a feat of imaginative wit.”

Following the reading Steinzor will be conducting a Q&A.  Copies of his work, To Join the Lost, will be available for sale at the event.
