Let’s Talk About It! Muslim Jouneys

Sorry! This program is now full and no more signups are being accepted!

LPL and APL are joining forces with the Maine Humanities Council this fall to offer a reading and discussion series entitled Muslim Journeys which is designed to explore diverse perspectives on the people, places, histories, beliefs, and cultures of Muslims in the United States and around the world.

This is a five-month series where participants read one book each month and join with fellow readers in a monthly book discussion program led by Reza Jalali, the Coordinator of Multicultural Student Affairs at USM in Portland.  Copies of the books are available for participants to borrow.  The programs will take place on the third Thursday evening of each month, Sept. thru Jan. at 6:30 p.m.  The locations will alternate between LPL and APL (see schedule below).

This program is free, but participants must register in advance.  To register online, go to: www.AuburnPublicLibrary.org/Lets-Talk-About-It
