Community Conversation / Author Talk at Bates College

Danielle-Allen-200x300Author Danielle Allen will be speaking at The Benjamin Mays Center (95 Russell St.) at Bates College on Tues., Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. in a Community Conversation about her latest book, Our Declaration: a Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Defense of Equality. Our Declaration has been chosen by Bates as their “Common Reading” for this year’s incoming class of 2019.

This Community Conversation and author talk is being co-sponsored by the Lewiston and Auburn public libraries and is free and open to all in the community. For more details on the Common Reading and Dr. Danielle Allen, click here.
