So Near and So Far: Cuba Through Its Literature

Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 15, LPL will be hosting a free reading and discussion series featuring five books on the history, romance, political turmoil, and cultural riches of Cuba. The programs will be led by Bowdoin College History and Latin American Studies Professor Allen Wells. This special Let’s Talk About It series is provided through the support of the Maine Humanities Council and the Friends of LPL.
