What happens to materials donated to LPL?
Library staff members evaluate all materials to see if the materials can be added to the collection. Materials not added to the collection are either put in the Friends of the Library’s book sale or recycled. Proceeds from sales are used to fund library programs, special events, and purchases not covered by the annual budget.
Will I receive a receipt for my donations?
Receipts stating quantity of items donated are available upon request. We are unable to appraise donated materials.
