A few facts about book awards

 There are all sorts of book award given out by a variety of organizations in the world from: publishers, schools, library associations, cultural groups, and many more.  It seems many people don’t even know a book has won an award unless it is plastered on the book’s cover somewhere.  Sadly most books don’t do that until their second or third printing.  Luckily most of the groups that give out book awards are online and list all their current and past winners.  A few of the awards we keep an eye out for here at Lewiston Public Library, in regards to the teen collection, are listed below.
