Join us on Saturday, March 28th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the fourth annual Teen Opportunities Fair at Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall. The event, sponsored for the 4th year in a row by the Lewiston and Auburn Public Libraries, will feature exhibits and displays from a number of local businesses and agencies that employ local teenagers or provide services or volunteer opportunities for them.

The Fair will feature area organizations supporting local young adults in one or more of the following pursuits: employment, volunteering, internships, continuing education, and life skills. The event is free and open to all area teens.

Participants will be able to talk with employers, find out what they are looking for in new hires, and apply for jobs, internships, and volunteer experiences. Other agencies will be providing details on the services and opportunities that they provide. In addition, the Fair will feature door prizes and free food.

The showcase of local organizations exhibiting at the Teen Opportunities Fair includes: 21st Century Lewiston Afterschool Program; Auburn Police Activities League; American Red Cross; Girl Scouts of Maine; the Career Center; Auburn Rec. Department; Lots to Gardens; Tree Street Youth; Boys & Girls Club; Community Credit Union; representatives from area colleges, and more!
