Beginner Swahili Class

The Lewiston and Auburn Public Libraries will be offering free beginner and intermediate classes in Swahili, also known as Kiswahili. Led by instructor Ms. Crabtree, Kiswahili 101 will provide teen and adult students with a foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing the basic grammatical structures and vocabulary of Kiswahili.

The Beginner class will take place on Tuesdays from 5:30-7 weekly at the Lewiston Public Library, beginning on October 11th. All classes will take place in the 3rd Floor Conference Room. Classes are ongoing, so new students are always welcome!

Students with some experience with Swahili should join the ongoing Intermediate class on Mondays from 6-7:30 and Thursdays 4:30-6 at the Auburn Public Library.
