Naturalization Ceremony

The Library will be hosting its first-ever Naturalization Ceremony in Callahan Hall on Friday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m.  The ceremony is conducted by the South Portland Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization Services and will feature Lewiston’s state senator Margaret Craven as the guest speaker.  37 new Mainers will be sworn in as U. S. citizens and music is being provided by the Maine Music Society‘s Androscoggin Chorale.

This event is free and open to the public.
