Summer Reading Kick-Off: Wayne From Maine

Children’s music artist Wayne From Maine will be visiting the Lewiston Public Library to help us kick off our Summer Reading Game! Wayne and Jimmy James the Koonga Boonga Man will be performing in the Callahan Hall on Monday, June 23, at 2:00pm! This show is free and open to the public. Pick up tickets in the Children’s Room in beginning in June.

waynekidThe Wayne from Maine show is 45 a minute interactive musical experience for the young and young at heart. Wayne along with his percussionist Jimmy James the Koonga Boonga Man invite volunteers to the stage to play various percussive instruments or sing into a wireless microphone. Wayne has been performing and recording children’s music for over a decade and has traveled up and down the east coast delighting audiences with his very own brand or “Edu-Tainment”.
