Computer Lab

Current Hours (Winter 2015)

  • Monday- Thursday: 10 –3
  • Friday & Saturday: 10 – 5

The Computer Lab is devoted to specific uses only (no Facebook, general email use, etc):

  1. Career building (applying for jobs, writing resumes, etc)
  2. Learning basic technology skills
  3. Accessing government services (tax preparation, government wireless phone application)
  4. Language Learning
  5. Academic work

The computer lab is staffed by students from Kaplan University who are trained to provide informal instruction in and assistance with a number of basic computer activities, such as online job searches, resume writing, and setting up email accounts.

At this time, computer lab use is limited to adults 18 and older except during special programs such as afterschool Homework Help.
