Summer Reading 2012

Beginning on June 17th, Lewiston Public Library will be offering teenagers (ages 13-18) a weekly chance to win great prizes — simply by reading three or more hours per week. The library wants to encourage teenagers to keep up with their reading during the long summer months so they will not lose academic ground during the break.
Participants may read any type and genre of book they want. AsĀ long as they meet their reading goal for the week, they will be eligible to choose from a weekly prize or a raffle ticket for a larger prize. The raffle drawing will be held at the end of July, and prizes include Dr. Dre Beats headphones, soccer balls, beading kits, and an iPod shuffle.
