• Free Auburn Nordic Ski Family Passes — Available now through the Children’s Department.
  
• Great Falls Forum: Conspiracy Theories, Thursday, February 17th @ 12pm (Virtual) — In her Great Falls Forum talk, Stephanie will describe what a conspiracy theory is, and draw out the differences between misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy.
• Teen Room Upgrades — Have you seen the new Teen area? In addition to the teen collections room, the teen space has expanded to include the teen lounge right next door!

This Week at LPL

• Black History of Maine with Bob Greene, Tuesday, January 25th @ 5:30pm (Virtual) — It is frequently said that Maine is the whitest state in America, yet Black people have a long history in the Pine Tree State. Yes, there were slaves, but there were also builders, farmers, fishermen, ship captains, educators, and more. It’s that hidden history of our state that Greene will reveal in his presentation.
• Winter Animals — Join Ms. Alexis and their animal friends this month on the Lewiston Public Library YouTube channel and LPL Kids Facebook page, as they explore the strategies different Maine animals use to live through the winter.

• Teen Video Games, starting Wednesday, February 3rd @ 3:30pm — Every Wednesday between 3:30pm and 5:30pm and every Friday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm, teens can choose from any of our in-house games to play solo or with their friends.
