What’s New?
- Read Your Mind: Mental Health in Teen Books, starting Wednesday, February 23rd @ 12:30pm (Virtual) — Read Your Mind is a monthly, virtual series focusing on teen mental health & wellness. Featuring YA authors and community health experts, we hope to explore complex and common health concerns through the vehicle of Teen books.
- Federal 1040/1040-SR Tax Forms Available — The Library has paper copies of the federal 1040/1040-SR forms and instruction booklets to give away.
- Learn to Read Corner — Come in and see our new “Learn to Read” corner located in the Children’s Department, a cozy play for new and emerging readers to find a fun book just right for them!
- Black History Month with Kanopy — In honor of Black History Month, Kanopy has curated a collection of films that offer various perspectives on the Black experience in America.
This Week at LPL
- Teen Video Games, starting Wednesday, February 3rd @ 3:30pm — Every Wednesday between 3:30pm and 5:30pm and every Friday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm, teens can choose from any of our in-house games to play solo or with their friends.
Next Week at LPL
- Origami Hearts, starting Monday, February 7th — The library will have take & make kits available for adults and teens to make origami hearts with love notes or wings.
- Girl Scouts at the Library, Wednesday, February 9th @ 5:30pm — Meet with a Girl Scout representative in the Children’s Department to ask questions and check out a free Girl Scout activity from one of their many badges.

- Great Falls Forum: Conspiracy Theories, Thursday, February 17th @ 12pm (Virtual) — In her Great Falls Forum talk, Stephanie will describe what a conspiracy theory is, and draw out the differences between misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy.
