What’s New?
- The Library will be CLOSED on Monday, October 9th in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. We Will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, October 10th.
- Watch our Chat with J.R. Dawson. Author and educator J.R. Dawson will read from and discuss her debut novel, The First Bright Thing, a historical fantasy about a circus of fantasticals searching for belonging while enduring the looming shadow of a second world war and the even closer threat of a rival circus with tents as black as midnight.
- Window Replacement in Progress. We are in the process of having some windows replaced on the upper floors of our building. Please be cautious when you enter and exit the library.
This Week @ LPL
- Teen Video Games, starting Wednesday, October 4th at 4pm. Video game nights is the perfect chance to come down to the library to test your skills against your friends in a safe but competitive environment. We will have controllers and games for teens to sign out to use.
- Spirits of the Pine Tree State, Wednesday, October 4th at 5pm. Follow the peaceful dirt roads to long-forgotten ghost stories, you’ll hear superstitions from some of the quaint, small towns and learn of unusual occurrences that still can’t be explained today.
- Magic: the Gathering Club, Thursday, October 5th at 3pm. Come by after school to engage in all things Magic: the Gathering, from trading with other people to playing matches against others.
