What’s New?
- No more fees for movies & audiobooks. All DVD and Blu-Ray movies, TV shows, and documentaries, and audiobooks for all ages are free to borrow starting today! Patrons are allowed to check out 10 movies or 10 audiobooks at a time.
- The Library will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Friday, July 5th.
- Interlibrary Loan Temporarily Suspended. Due to an issue with our contracted book delivery service, the Maine State Library has made the decision to turn off materials requesting between libraries beginning last week, which means that no new holds can be placed and existing holds will not be fulfilled.
This Week @ LPL
- Summer Reading BINGO Begins, starting Monday, July 1st. Participants should go to a State or National Park, Maine Wildlife Park, Botanical Gardens or Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary to complete the tasks on the BINGO Card.
Next Week @ LPL
- Mini Nature Notebooks, Wednesday, July 10th at 3:30pm. During this program, kids will be provided with the materials to create their own mini nature notebook using a simple bookbinding technique.
- Terracotta Lighthouse Craft, Wednesday, July 10th at 5pm. Registration is full.
