LPL Newsletter 7/29/2024
What’s New?
- Free Summer Reading Shirts for Kids. We’re giving away FREE Summer Reading T-Shirts for each child who turns in a summer reading bookmark in the Children’s Department while supplies last.
- Best Books of the 21st Century. Did you see The New York Times’ list of 100 Best Books of the 21st Century? The Library has almost every book on the list! We are displaying a handful of titles on the first floor and have printed the full list for patrons to reference.
- Interlibrary Loan Temporarily Suspended. Due to an issue with our contracted book delivery service, the Maine State Library has made the decision to turn off materials requesting between libraries beginning last week, which means that no new holds can be placed and existing holds will not be fulfilled.
