What’s New? 

• Interlibrary Loan Returns September 3rd. The Maine State Library has announced that Interlibrary Loan requesting will resume on September 3rd. More information to come!

This Week @ LPL

• Butterfly Storytime, Friday, August 23rd at 10am. Enjoy an interactive butterfly storytime learning about butterflies and their life cycle. Stop by for some fun with books, songs, and body movement while building early literacy skills. After the storytime, each child can decorate and create their own flapping butterfly.

Next Week @ LPL

• Teen Summer Art Club, Monday, August 26th at 2pm. Teens can work on any artistic project they wish. Supplies will be free and available for all teens.
• Art Walk & Book Sale, Friday, August 30th at 5pm. Head out on the town for Art Walk LA to experience ART, MUSIC & MORE on the Final Friday of the month!
• The Library will be closed on Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, September 3rd.
