  • READy to Grow: LPL’s Campaign for Kids, The Library aims to modernize the Children’s Department with a timeless, engaging design tied to Lewiston history. Help us transform the Children’s Department into an inspirational destination for kids and their families. Every gift counts. What can you give for Lewiston’s families today?

  • Great Falls Forum, Thursday, December 19th at 12pm. Join Maine State Librarian Lori Fisher in conversation around book bans, censorship, and intellectual freedom protections in the region and the nation. 
  • Teen Art Club, Thursday, December 19th at 4pm. Teens: looking for a place to work on your art? Look no further than our Teen Art Club! Teens can work on any artistic project they wish. Supplies will be free and available for all teens.

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • Make Snowflakes, Monday, December 23rd at 12pm. In celebrating the holiday season, come and make your own snowflake for decoration or as an ornament.
  • Christmas Hours:
    • Tuesday, December 24th: Early closure at 1pm.
    • Wednesday, December 25th: Closed.
  • Teen Button Making, Thursday, December 26th at 4pm. Our self-serve button making station is available for all teens, grab a backing, a cool design, and bring it all together to make something cool!
