What’s New?
- The Library will be CLOSED on Monday, February 17th in observance of President’s Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, February 18th.
- Valentine’s Display in Children’s Room. If you are looking for a sweet story to read with your little ones, check out the Valentine’s Day book display in the Children’s Department.
This Week @ LPL
- CareerCenter Resume Workshop, Tuesday, February 11th at 11am. The CareerCenter will provide professional resume writing and job connection assistance on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Teen Yoga for Stress, Wednesday, February 12th at 3:30pm. Practice will focus on simple breathing and movement.
- ArtVan, Wednesday, February 12th at 3:30pm. ArtVan is a mobile art program that brings hands-on creative art opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and fun. All of their projects aim to inspire art-making with a variety of materials to explore.
- Valentine’s Day Keepsake, Friday, February 14th at 10am. Caregivers and their young children will be able to make a collaborative family handprint keepsake on canvas for Valentine’s Day.
Next Week @ LPL
- Let’s Grow Crystals! Wednesday, February 19th at 11am. Children will be provided with materials to grow tetragonal crystals by creating a solution with water and a package of monoammonium phosphate and powdered pigments. A seed crystal is then added to start the crystallization process.
- Email Basics, 2-Part Class, Wednesday, February 19th and Thursday, February 20th at 2pm. We will look at navigating, composing, replying, working with attachments, and more with hands-on class participation.
- Teen Art Club, Thursday, February 20th at 4pm. Teens can work on any artistic project they wish. Supplies will be free and available for all teens.
- Family Movie Morning: Moana, Friday, February 21st at 10:30am. Come enjoy a morning movie showing and snacks.
