Tess Gerritsen at ACLU Annual Meeting

On Monday, October 21st at 5:30 PM, join the ACLU for its annual meeting, featuring best selling author Tess Gerritsen. Gerritsen will share her own story about growing up the daughter of a Chinese immigrant mother and Chinese-American father. This event will take place in the Library’s Callahan Hall.

The talk will be followed by a training with the ACLU legal team and Prevention. Action. Change. about interacting with law enforcement – from what exactly your legal rights are to how to de-escalate a situation, as an active participant or as a bystander.
