Artsy-Fartsy Storytime: Frida Kahlo and Self Portraits

Artsy Fartsy Storytime is a program that introduces kids to the work of famous artists, art styles, and creative concepts through books. Kids are then given materials to explore and get creative on their own, inspired by the story.

This month, come learn about artist Frida Kahlo as we read the book “Frida” by Jonah Winter. Afterward we will get out some mirrors and create some self-portrait art of our own!
