Book Talk & Book Fair

Need a few titles to fill out your summer reading list? Feeling nostalgic for those old school book fairs? Just want some guidance on what to read next? Then join us on Friday, May 4th from 5-7 PM for the first Book Talk & Book Fair at Bear Bones Beer (43 Lisbon St.) in Lewiston, brought to you by Bear Bones, the Lewiston Public Library, Quiet City Books, and Zimmie’s Comics.

You’ll be able to peruse some great titles, order books, shop through some related “school supplies” with the help from our speakers and enthusiasts. Throughout the event, we will be giving away several comic books donated by Zimmie’s. Then our speakers will take the stage and tell us a little bit about some recent publications that caught their eye, and why you may like them too!

Our speakers will be Marcela Peres, director of the LPL; Courtney Schlachter, owner of Quiet City Books; and Ben Santos, CEO/founder of Cosplay Convention Center & the Great Falls Comic Expo.
