Happy Earth Day! 🌍

The Children’s Department will be hosting an Earth Day craft program on Tuesday, April 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This program will highlight the importance of Earth Day and the ways one could reduce, reuse, and recycle. Using recycled materials like bottle caps, recycled paper, and plastic bags, children can create friendship bracelets, puppets, or mini pets.

This program is recommended for elementary-aged kids 6–14 years old. The activity is free and there is no registration required.

This program will take place in the Children’s Department on the third floor of the library.

The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street. More information is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at (207) 513-3503 or LPLKids@lewistonmaine.gov.
