What Does Your Dream Children’s Library Space Look Like?

Join us at the Lewiston Public Library for our initial fundraising event to support the Children’s Department renovation, Dream Big: Capital Campaign Kickoff with Princess and Superhero Friends on Saturday, December 14^th from 11AM – 2PM in Callahan Hall.

Meet-and-greet with fairytale princesses and popular superheroes. Watch each princess’s performance and enjoy a tasty snack. Kids will be able to decorate their own superhero cape or crown for a special photo with their favorite character.

Dream big with us and draw what you would like the new Children’s Department to look like at our art station while live music by Midcoast Brass fills Callahan Hall.

Come out to have fun, generate awareness and celebrate the season.

Dream Big is a fundraising event in support of READy to Grow: LPL’s Campaign for Kids to renovate the Children’s Department. Our vision is to provide generations of Lewiston’s youth with an inspiring place to play, grow, and explore while remaining respectful of our rich history and reflecting the cultures and traditions of modern-day Lewiston.

When you use a library, you join a community. Libraries are a vital resource, providing a space where families and children can connect and access needed resources. It’s time for the Children’s Department to grow in order to better serve families.

Midcoast Brass comes to LPL as a community outreach from the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, which makes its home in Lewiston at the Franco Center. For more information about the Midcoast Symphony’s 35^th concert season and other community outreach events, visit midcoastsymphony.org.
