Great Falls Forum with Julia Azari

The 2018-2019 season of the Great Falls Forum continues on Thursday, November 29th, featuring Dr. Julia Azari, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Marquette University, with a talk entitled “What do the 2018 midterms mean?” The program will take place from 12 noon to 1 PM in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library.

Dr. Azari holds Ph.D., M.A., and M.Phil degrees in political science from Yale University, and a B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the author of Delivering the People’s Message: The Changing Politics of the Presidential Mandate, and is a regular contributor at the political science blog The Mischiefs of Faction. Her work has also appeared in the Washington Post’s Monkey Cage blog and in Politico. Her research interests include the American presidency, political parties, and political rhetoric.

In her great Falls Forum presentation Dr. Azari will discuss the outcomes of the 2018 midterm election.


The Great Falls Forum is a monthly, brown-bag speaker series featuring statewide and regional leaders in public policy, business, academia and the arts. The programs are free, open to all and no reservations are required. Coffee, tea and bottled water are provided for a donation at the event.
