Great Falls Forum with the Lewiston Legislative Delegation
The 2018-2019 season of the Great Falls Forum continues on Friday, April 19th, with a panel discussion titled “Answers from Augusta,” featuring State Senator Nate Libby, member of the Legislative Council and Government Oversight Committee; State Representative Heidi Brooks, member of the Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services Committee; State Representative Kristen Cloutier, member of the Taxation Committee; State Representative Margaret Craven, member of the Health and Human Services Committee; and State Representative Jim Handy, member of the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Business Committee. The program will take place from 12 noon to 1 PM in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library.
In this Great Falls Forum panel, the Lewiston legislative delegation will discuss the state budget, taxes, health care, workforce development, public education, and all other upcoming debates in the State House.
Admission is free to all Forum events and no reservations are required. This program is a bring-your-own, brown-bag lunch event. Coffee, tea and bottled water will be available on site at the library.
The Great Falls Forum is a monthly, brown-bag speaker series featuring statewide and regional leaders in public policy, business, academia and the arts. The programs are free, open to all and no reservations are required. Coffee, tea and bottled water are provided for a donation at the event. The Forum is a co-sponsorship of the Sun Journal, Bates College, Maple Way Dental Care, and LPL.
