Post-election Immigration Outreach

On Wednesday, 12/21 from 1-3 PM in LPL’s Callahan Hall, lawyers from the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) and the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine (ACLU) will speak about post-election immigration issues and legal rights:

Concerns in the community about how immigration laws might change under the new Administration
Suggestions for what you can do now to get ready for the new Administration
Learn about your legal rights when speaking to the police or immigration officials

Members of the immigrant community and service providers are encouraged to attend. No advance registration is required.

Interpretation will be provided in French, Portuguese, and Somali.
