The Lewiston Public Library will host the return of Roxie Zwicker on Monday, December 4th. Roxie will be presenting her interactive program called “The Lost Art of Tea Leaf Reading Workshop”. Participants should bring their own teacup for the program. This free, public program will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Callahan Hall on the third floor of the Lewiston Public Library.
Join Maine’s Mystery Maven for Delicious Divination! What do you see in your cup? Come learn the noble art of divination by tea leaf reading in this fun and informative class. We will cover the history and lore of this centuries-old fortune-telling technique which originated in China and traveled along tea and spice trade routes all over the world. Explore the perfect herbs for tea leaf reading and how to create your own specialty blends. Come enjoy a cup of custom-made herbal tea and see what symbols and messages your cup reveals to you.
