Calling all Lewiston and Auburn teens! Join us for the first session of our Aspirations Workshop Series. “What Do You Mean? Introduction to Aspirations” will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd from 4-5 PM in LPL’s 1st floor Jeanne Couture Room.

This workshop will introduce the concept of Aspirations to students and give them the opportunity to discuss future goals with college students from Lewiston and Auburn. They will discuss personal experiences from attending Lewiston/Auburn Public Schools and discuss the importance of education as part of their career trajectory.

These workshops are open to all middle and high school students interested in discussing their goals and learning how to access resources to build networks of support. Each workshop will include a presentation and/or activity followed with question and answer period. Workshop presenters will provide handouts for students to keep in resource folders. Free snacks are provided.

This series is co-sponsored by the Bates College Harward Center for Community Partnerships and the Lewiston Public Library, along with the assistance of many community partners that have donated college-related materials and staff time for the workshops.
