The library will be closed on Monday, February 15th in honor of Presidents’ Day.

  • Take the Black Lit Challenge: Created by The Artisan Geek, the Black Lit Challenge is a month-long reading challenge to encourage reading more books by Black authors. Readers of all ages can participate in this challenge, and we will be highlighting books all month that fit the challenge categories for all kinds of readers. Celebrate Black History with us by reading Black literature this month and all year long!
  • Green Dot Workshops: Green Dot Lewiston-Auburn is offering 2-hour bystander intervention training using Zoom. These are interactive, last about two hours, and are limited to 15 adult participants per session. Registration is required.
  • Take & Make Kits: The theme for February is HEARTS! LPL Kids is excited to offer Take & Makes designed for preschool ages, with kits that include activities for young children who are working on fine motor skills, scissor skills, ABC’s, 123’s, shapes, colors, and more! You can pick up a kit when you schedule a browsing appointment in the Children’s Department or via LPL To Go. No library card required.
