What’s New?

This Week at LPL
  • Tough Times with the Museum of Bad Art, Monday March 21st at 5:30pm (Virtual): Art has always helped get us through difficult times. In this presentation, the Museum Of Bad Art explores some of the ways artists react to disasters small and large, real and imagined.
  • Book Boxes are still in stock! This month’s theme is “Wabanaki Neighbors,” and features books and activities about the Wabanaki People, traditions, and culture. There are two books, activities, stickers, and more!
  • Teen Video Games: LPL Teen offers video gaming for ages 13-19 in the teen lounge on our Playstation 4, every Wednesday & Friday from 2:30-4:30pm.

 

Next Week at LPL
  • Maine State Museum Listening Tour, Tuesday, March 29th at 5:30pm (Virtual): The Maine State Museum is seeking community input to find the stories and broader themes that resonate with and reflect the many voices, interests, and identities of the people of Maine. We will be hosting one of these virtual discussions so that the people of Lewiston have an opportunity to weigh in.
  • North Star Challenge ends March 31st: Teens who read 3 or more titles from this year’s list of North Star YA Award nominees are eligible to vote for their favorite book at their school or public library. Youth participating in the North Star Challenge at Lewiston Public Library will receive an extra entry into the grand prize raffle for voting!
