What’s New?
  • Maine State Park Passes are now available — Our park passes are loaned for a single day and allow a carload free entry to any state park in Maine. Call our Children’s Department to reserve your pass ahead of time at 207-513-3133.
  • Celebrate Earth Day with Kanopy — Kanopy has curated a collection of films that address a range of environmental concerns including climate change, sustainability, pollution, overfishing, and other topics.
  • What is Life Like in Maine Today? — Did you miss our stop on the Maine State Museum Listening Tour? Have no fear – your voices can still be heard! Check out the online form for your chance to respond to their five questions and let the Museum know what life is like in Maine today.
  • Now Hiring Part Time Library Assistants — We are seeking friendly and assertive individuals with excellent customer service skills to work at the library public service desks.

 

This Week at LPL
  • Make Art with ArtVan, Wednesday, April 6th @ 3:30pm — ArtVan will be providing an in-person, hands-on creative art program in the Children’s Department for children ages 5-14 (ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult) for self-expression, personal growth, and fun.

 

Next Week at LPL
  • Botanical Bookmarks, Tuesday, April 19th @ 5:30pm — Come celebrate spring with the Lewiston Public Library and create a personalized bookmark with pressed flowers and herbs, colorful paper, and your choice of tassel or decorative ribbon.
  • Great Falls Forum with Amy Smith, Thursday, April 21st @ 12pm (Virtual) — Our next Great Falls Forum will feature Amy Smith, Founder and Executive Director of Healthy Homeworks, with a talk entitled “Falling in Love with Lewiston.”
  • The library will be closed on Monday, April 18th, in observance of Patriot’s Day.
