What’s New?
  • New Storywalk: Say Something by Peter H. Reynolds — The library’s latest Storywalk can be accessed along the McMahon Nature Trail, located at 151 N. Temple Street behind McMahon Elementary School. Storywalks encourage family literacy alongside physical activity.
  • Kanopy Improvements — The Lewiston Public Library’s Kanopy website upgraded to a new design. This new web experience is more intuitive, responsive, and user-centered than ever before.
  • Canal Street Parking Garage Temporarily Closed — On April 20th, the Canal Street Parking Garage will be closed for approximately four weeks for repairs. There will be no vehicle access in or out of the garage during this period. The next closest parking for Library visitors is the Oak Street Garage located at 1 Oak Street, across the street from the Post Office.

 

This Week at LPL
  • Botanical Bookmarks, Tuesday, April 19th @ 5:30pm — Come celebrate spring with the Lewiston Public Library and create a personalized bookmark with pressed flowers and herbs, colorful paper, and your choice of tassel or decorative ribbon.
  • Great Falls Forum with Amy Smith, Thursday, April 21st @ 12pm (Virtual) — Our next Great Falls Forum will feature Amy Smith, Founder and Executive Director of Healthy Homeworks, with a talk entitled “Falling in Love with Lewiston.”
  • Teen Tabletop RPGs : For the Queen, Thursday, April 21st @ 4pm — Supplies will be provided – just bring yourself and your creative mind! No previous RPG experience is required. This program is intended for teens ages 13-19.
