What’s New?
  • Summer Saturday Hours have Started — Please note that during the Summer, the library is open from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. We will return to our regular Saturday hours in September.
  • Pride Picks with ComicsPlus — Celebrate Pride with unlimited, simultaneous access to a curated selection of comics and manga for readers of all ages!
  • The Library will be closed on Monday, June 20th in observance of Juneteenth.
This Week at LPL
  • Lego Club! Wednesday, June 15th @ 4pm — Lego Club is back! Come build with us in the Children’s department on Wednesdays. There will be optional themes and prompts, or simply build from your imagination. We supply the Legos, you supply the creativity! Ages 5-12. No sign-up required.
  • Teen Tabletop RPGs, Thursday, June 2nd @ 4pm — LPL Teen will be hosting a series of one-shot tabletop roleplaying games, in person in the teen lounge on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 4-6pm, from April-June. Supplies will be provided – just bring yourself and your creative mind!
Next Week at LPL
  • ArtWalk Book Sale! Friday, June 24th @ 5pm — The Lewiston Public Library will be hosting art by Lewiston High School students with the prompt “I Wish My Teacher Knew.” The Library will also hold a book sale benefiting the Friends of the Lewiston Public Library during Artwalk. Fill a grocery bag for $5, or a Library Blue Bag for $10!
  • LPL at Kennedy Park Kids, Saturday, June 25th @ 9am — Lewiston Public Library Children’s Librarian Sara will be at this fun summer kick-off event, and she’d love to see you! Please stop by for crafts and books, and just to say hello! You can also challenge the Lewiston Police Department to our favorite basketball skills and drills games—register your team ahead of time to enter.
  • LPL at Celebrating Lewiston Festival, Saturday, June 25th @ 12pm — A full day of fun celebrating Lewiston hosted by the city’s Youth Advisory Council! Come see us at the Celebrating Lewiston festival in Mike McGraw Park for a Children’s Interactive Activity “Lewiston Pages to a Book” and to learn about this year’s Summer Reading programs for all ages.
