What’s New?
  • Mitten Drive! On behalf of the City of Lewiston and Rinck Advertising, we are a drop off location for new mittens, gloves, and hats that will be donated to citizens in need. Our drop box is in the lobby on the first floor, and we are collecting donations until Friday, December 2, 2022.
  • The Lewiston Recreation Department’s 2022-2023 Winter/Spring Brochure is now available. This brochure features programs for community members of all ages, six programs of which are brand new to the line-up.
This Week at LPL
  • Teen Library Ambassadors, Monday, November 28th at 4pm. Do you want to plan your own program or event? Is there a manga series you think we should have? Do you want to run a gaming tournament? Do you like writing reviews, taking photos, or making videos? The library needs you!
  • Backyard Birding Basics, Wednesday, November 30th at 11am. Join Maine Audubon’s staff to learn best practices for attracting and supporting birds in your yard throughout the winter.

  • Great Falls Forum, Thursday, December 8th at 12pm. The 25th season of the Great Falls Forum continues, featuring Mark Roberts, Senior Investigator and K-9 Handler, Office of the State Fire Marshal, with a talk entitled “Accelerant Detection K-9s in Fire Investigation.”
