What’s New?
  • Parable Path Discussion Project, starting Tuesday, March 14th at 5:30pm. The Lewiston Public Library will host a three-session Discussion Project this spring entitled “What if community is the key to our resilience?” facilitated by Samara Cole Doyon.
  • Outreach Program Relaunches. This free program is open to any residents of Lewiston who are physically unable to come into the building. Those in either private settings or group facilities are welcome to apply.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Blockbuster Movie: Black Panther, Wednesday, February 22nd at 3pm. This PG-13 movie is set in a fictional-African nation with advanced technology whose leader has to juggle the responsibilities of being royalty with being a superhero.
  • The Balance of Nature: Predators, Thursday, February 23rd at 2pm. This event will include live animals, activities, and discuss predators in the context of the food web, natural cycles, and habitat loss.
  • Create, Experiment, & Discover, Thursday, February 16th at 4pm. Starting this February, we will be offering after school activities every Thursday afternoon from 4-5pm. Activities will vary weekly and will encourage children to express themselves through creative projects and STEAM-based activities, while promoting social and emotional learning.

  • Black History Month Film and Discussion: Till, Tuesday, February 28th at 4pm. The City of Lewiston Diversity, Equity and Inclusion office is highlighting Black History Month with a special screening and discussion on the 2022 film Till.
